Daclatasvir (DACIHEP) is an antiviral drug that prevents the hepatitis C virus (HCV) from spreading in the body.
USES
To treat chronic (long-term) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver, daclatasvir is combined with another antiviral drug (Sofosbuvir). These drugs work together to lower the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which aids your immune system’s battle against the infection and can aid liver recovery. Chronic hepatitis C infection can lead to severe liver problems including scarring (cirrhosis) and cancer.
