INTRODUCTION:-
Hepcinat-LP (Sofosbuvir 400mg + Ledipasvir 90mg) Tablet is a combination of two antiviral medicines. This medicine is used in the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infection. It fights against the viruses to resolve the infection. This medicine work by lowering the amount of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time. Hepcinat-LP Tablet should be taken in the prescribed dose and duration. It can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time daily. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is advised not to consume more than the recommended dose of this medicine as it may cause harm. It is important to inform to doctor if you have any health conditions such as liver or kidney disease. Consuming alcohol with this medicine can cause harm, so according to doctors and experts it is advised to limit or avoid alcohol. Hepcinat-LP Tablet is totally safe to use during pregnancy and also for breastfeeding mothers. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects on baby. This medicine can cause some side effect while driving if you consume Hepcinat LP as you may suffer from dizziness, blurred vision. For safety measure it is advised not to drive. If you miss a dose of Hepcinat-LP Tablet, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose as it may cause harm to health. Patients who have liver issues, or kidney problems and are undergoing dialysis, are not advised the use of Hepcinat-Lp Tablet. The course of the medicine should be completed for better results.
SIDE EFFECT OF HEPCINAT LP: –
Most common side effects of sofosbuvir along with ledipasvir include tiredness, headache, muscle cramps and sometimes nausea. These side effects during the initial days of commencing the treatment and subsequently disappear with time. If any serious side effects appear consult your physician.
