INTRODUCTION
Virem (Darunavir 600mg) Tablet is an antiviral or antiretroviral medicine. It is used in the treatment of HIV infection. It stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
Virem Tablet should be taken with food, as this increases the absorption of the medicine into the body. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. You should take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.
Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor before taking this drug if you are an elderly patient, of, or above 65 years of age, if you have a history of liver disease including hepatitis B or C, or have hemophilia, or if you are allergic to sulfa drugs.

SAFETY ADVICE
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Virem Tablet. Please consult your doctor if you feel any kind of symptoms after consuming. This tablet is safe to use during pregnancy and also while breastfeeding. According to studies it has shown no adverse effect on baby. It is also safe for patients having kidney disease. No dose adjustment of this tablet is needed for patients with kidney disease. Virem Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Virem 100mg Tablet may be needed. Limited information is available on the use of Virem 100mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease. It is not known whether Virem Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE VIREM TABLET
If you miss a dose of Virem Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
